Materials palette, click on the
Foreground color and this time place a check mark in
Invert :

Adjust > Brightness and Contrast > Brightness/Contrast... > Brightness: 48 Contrast: 15 > Ok Selections > Load/Save Selection > Load Selection From Alpha Channel... In the drop-down list below the document name, choose Selection #3 > Load.
Adjust > Blur > Gauissan > Radius: 2 > OkaySelections > Select None 7 On your
Layers palette, turn off the visibility for your background and Raster 1 layers (there should be a red "X" on the eyeballs):
Make sure that one of the visible layers are highlighted (one of those without the red "X" on the eyeball.
Layers > Merge > Merge VisibleTurn the visibility back on for the background and Raster 1 layers (there are no red "X" on any of the eyeballs) and the merged layer is still highlighted:
Using the
Raster Deform Tool (D) grab the node in the middle on the right side and move it slightly towards the left side:
As you can see, this helps create a more sunken look.
8 Now lets add the some 2D/3D effects.
On your
Layers palette, highlight the Background Layer:
Layers > New Raster Layer... > OkSelection Tool (S) 
and
Selection type: RectangleWe'll start at the bottom of the image first. Create a rectangular selection across the the image like this:
On the
Materials palette, set your
Foreground color to
#202020 > Ok.
Use the
Flood Fill Tool (F) 
and fill the selection:
Selections > Select NoneAdjust > Blur > Gauissan > Radius: 20 > OkayIs that neat or what!
